Unique

saints and philosophers are unique  
due to their degree of ability to see the truth of life / truth of god, 
and express their cognitions, and live a life of their choice uniquely 
according to their level of consciousness

but, the followers normally being at a different level cannot understand, they misunderstand and distort or narrow down, unwittingly, and assume that it is the thing that they said, and try to further pass it down , 
what happens in this process is the purity of teachings is lost, what remains is rituals and superficialities and forcing /imposing/ gaining acceptability by various means, including spiritual promises or incentives and material benefits in the worst case 
this has been going on and will ever goes on 
but, things will not be the same, all said and done results speak 
and disillusionment dawns .and it has to happen and will happen 
those who know things better would like to switch over to some thing better and better
i am reminded of 

The old order changeth, yielding place to new,
And God fulfills himself in many ways,
Lest one good custom should corrupt the world.”

Drooping abilities, tiredness, aging, sickness, death are due to various reasons, how one goes thru the life , inputs, and how intelligently one manages himself , also no less hereditary, and it's a individual 's order of priority , some treating it a light matter, some taking good care of themselves but everyone would like to lead a good life , this aspiration of man invariably gets exploited by everywhere. every and promises a heaven to promote sale . and some do succeed in netting in gullible customers. but nature's laws cannot be deceived , cause and effect none can escape"

  universe being run by the flawless almighty, everything , every phenomena, every oddity, has its own reason, design, purpose, ----

the human mind not capable of comprehending, ----

tries to reason out and reconcile 

1 reminds me an odd union of monkey and fish 

''Although Hanumaan took the vow to remain lifelong Brahmchaaree (celibacy), but as the legend goes on: 

He had a son named Makardhwaj: 

when Hanumaan jumped into the sea after setting fire to Lankaa to put out his own tail's fire, 

a drop of his sweat fell in the sea which was swallowed by a fish. 

When that fish was brought to Ahiraavan's kitchen, she gave birth to a son. 

His name was Makardhwaj. He helped his father to save Raam and Lakshman from Ahiraavan's place.

 

2 and another odd of deer getting conceived by the seed of one rishi, and giving birth to rishyashring, born with a horn on his head

ancient legends help us to sooth our raging feelings at the odd happenings in the contemporary world, on which we have no control , no alternative, than to accept --just to feel peaceful ourselves, 

things are happening inevitably, unpredictably as death 
budha wished and tried to overcome death disease old age 
but these persist

  

Unity to diversity diversity to unity as was earlier yathaa poorve

the key word ''yatha poorve ....'' .has many levels of application 

also mainly applicable for harmonious living of all 

the following vedic vachan was an important course material for us , the executives at a course on

Let all your thoughts and hymns be common. 
Let all your assembly be common. 
Let your austere vows and spiritual resolve be common. 
May be your minds be alike and united. 
I provide you all with common food and drink and needs of Life. 
May you enter from all sides; merge entirely in the common consciousness. 


Samaneeva akoothih samaana hridayani vah|
Samaana masthu vo mano yatha vah susahasathi|| Rigveda 10.191.14

Let, all your resolve be common. 
Let, all your hearts be common. 
Let, your minds be common. 
Hence, let all your works be got done well.

How elevating the thoughts on Unity! Come and think over other Mantras. 

Samprachadvamupa samprayatha|| Yajurveda 15.53 

O man! You all join together and travel together. Not only this. 

Sanjeevaa stha| Atharva 19.69.3 

You all live together. 

Then, what is the need to live together? 

Pumaan pumamamsam pari pathu vishwathah| 
Everyman should protect the other in all respects. 

Sam jneedwam sam prichadvam| Atharva 6.64.1 

Entertain common thoughts and be together. 

The Vedic Ideal however is 

Nakirdeva mini masi nakira yopayamasi mantrashruthyam charamasi|
Pakshehirapikshe bhi ratrabhi sam rabhamahe|| Rigveda 10.134.7 

Hey Noble men! 
We do not commit violence. 
We do not hurt others. 
We do not quarrel either. 
We of course, chant Vedas and act according to its dictates. 
We even join hands even with straw like men and act fast.

Vedas give us command, 

Mitho vignana upayanthu mrithyam| Atharvaveda 6.32.3 

People who quarrel among themselves become fodder to the death.
Hence, God’s children do not quarrel. 

Then who are God’s children? 

Tehi putraso aditevridu dweshamsi yothave|| Rigveda 8.18.5 

Those who drive away the enemies and know how to keep them away are real children of God.


These are the noble and inspiring thoughts of Vedas on the subject like Unity. Such beautiful thoughts can not be seen in any books of so called religions.

and

3 significantly the uniqueness attained, the specialty that is existing and displayed will become more and more profound in proportion to the success reached in exploring and discovering the one universal commonality underlying the manifested infinite specialties and uniquenesses and such a individual expresses more and more universality in his specialty , his every unique creation

 

and

4 much more vitally, the individuals output , his creations, his works acquire value in proportion to the degree of universality that he has brought out in his specialty

that is why we say for example, Tagore is unique , he is a universal poet

also we say krishna is special, he has taught an all time universal message, gita

 

5 and ultimately, all specialties, uniqueness, individuality will vanish, and one attribute less universality is reached

 

So the trend of evolution is from universality to specialty

from specialty to universality and the cycle repeats

  Unique and universal

one will become universal when one accesses one's self which is the universal core in every being , and there by one reaches out to the community around, society, state, country, humanity, all the living beings, even the inanimate, in divine love"

Every one every being, every article, every particle 
is unique and universal at the same time, 
similarities and differences coexisting simultaneously, 
though mass produced, though of the same design, 
though from one tree, though born of one animal, 
though born of same parents, 
from ancient to modern times
since all are products of the same dna of one god
who is unique and universal at the same time

 Unique 

every individual is unique with unique features and bio-metric identity, so i would consider each human being on earth is a minority, cannot be grouped, should not be grouped with any other individual

 

2 every individual is universal , has features common with all others , so there can be only one group of all humanity consisting of all
